How budget airlines work ? A big question because when we try to book tickets we can clearly see these budget airlines offer some great price to the customers. The budget airlines were started in Europe and now they are all over the world. In India we have INDIGO,SPICEJET,GO AIR,AIR ASIA INDIA. But in Europe you can easily found 2 hour long flight below 10 euro   and the price is significantly less than the traditional airways . Europe has EASY JET ,RYAN AIR,WIZZ AIR.Some times the price may be half or sometimes even quarter of the price. So how is it possible ? BOOM: The future super sonic plane

After the last blog about the super sonic commercial plane CONCORDE , many of you asked about the BOOM super sonic plane . so let’s talk about the BOOM . BOOM So in the current market , no passenger plane can fly supersonic . So the BOOM came with   the idea of flying super sonic . Most probably it will be introduced in 2023 . The XB-1 “ Baby Boom ” should make its first   flight in late 2018 , before being tested at supersonic speed in 2019. XB-1 The plane is designed to have 55 seats (all business class) with a top speed of mach 2.2 (2,300 km/hr) and the range will be 4,500nmi (8,300km). As we can see in the picture, it has the same delta wing configuration that CONCORDE had but it would be built in composite materials for lower costs. It will be powered by three 3500   lbf dry GENERAL Electric CJ610 engines . Speed Difference As the Concorde was very successful in Trans-Atlantic flights , BOOM is going to follow this .
